Instastaff are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader, to join a leading food production company based in West Bromwich.

The Production Team Leader role is a shop floor-based role taking  responsibility of all the daily production issues to ensure the highest quality and customer service at the lowest cost.

This role will be on a 12-week temp to perm basis, and food production experience is required.

The duties of the Production Team Leader  will be:

Responsible for the assigned production area, staff and equipment
Supervising up to 100 members of staff
Driving and achieving the daily production plan
Driving and achieving the daily productivity targets
Maintaining the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards
To develop a culture of continuous improvement of quality and service
Working closely with the Production Manager
Providing an in-depth hand over to the Production Manager
Dealing with any production or staff issues
The ideal Production Team Leader will have:

Experience within a similar role
Food production experience
Strong observation, organisational and communication skills.
A natural production driver.
Strong sense of responsibility
Proven team leader experience within a food manufacturing environment.
Must be responsible, committed and positive.
Hours of work for the Production Team Leader are, Monay – Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm

Salary for the Production Team Leader will be £29,250 per annum, £12.50 per hour
