Position: Mechanical Assembler

Rate: £13 per hour PAYE 

6 months Temp to Perm position

Working hours: 

7:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday

7:30am 12:30 Friday

(39 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join the team and work for one of our clients in Loughton, IG10.

This is an ongoing, full-time, temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent for the right Mechanical Assembler.

As an assembler, you will be primarily responsible for building large folding and inserting machines (with many parts) in specification industry standards within the stated build times.

Must be able to interpret engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams to facilitate assembly processes and work from BOMs (Parts List) 

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:

• Using small hand tools for the build and being able to follow build plans/drawings

• Proficient in general wiring tasks related to machinery assembly.

• Specialise in configuring and fine-tuning machinery, particularly optimizing the bottling process for enhanced performance.

• Liaising and communicating with other sub-sections as necessary

Skills required for the Mechanical Assembler role:

• Mechanical aptitude

• The ability to follow build plans/technical drawings

• Good Dexterity

• Experience working in a manufacturing setting
