Connect Grp UK are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager for a new build residential development in Birmingham.
The development consists of 628 high-rise flats.
Valid CSCS with SSSTS or SMSTS is required. Previous experience in delivering similar sizes projects is preferred along with 1st aid qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
* Manage all mechanical subcontractors, ensuring high quality standards.
* Prepare and submit necessary applications for building permits and statutory approvals.
* Oversee the day-to-day activities of mechanical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and budget.
* Monitor progress and identify potential risks and issues proactively.
* Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and industry best practices.
* Manage and resolve any site-related issues, including coordination with other trades and addressing any unforeseen challenges.
Rate: £350-£375 a day
Hours: 07.30-4.30 (9hrs a day)
Duration: 18 months
