Staff 86 | 86 Group are working with a large business in Nantwich who are looking to welcome an experienced Chef de Partie into the team. * Job Title: Chef de Partie

* Salary: £30k per annum

* Location: Nantwich

* Holidays: 35 days holiday PLUS a two-week Christmas shutdown!!!

* Working Hours: 37 hours per week between the hour of 7am and 7pm (5 days over 7)

Overview of the role:

Using locally produced and sourced products, you will be working with the wider kitchen team to produce quality catering for a very large number of people, so the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality is essential!

* Working closely with the Executive and Head Chef to deliver high quality menus.

* Working with fresh produce and delivering a high quality of food at volume.

* Working on event and hospitality catering.

* Ensuring high standards across service delivery, health and safety, and food storage.

* Support with stock takes and stock control.

* Mentoring the junior chefs in the team and offering your guidance and support.

* Plan, organise and prepare food for each service, and planning in advance.

Required skills and experience:

* A relevant qualification in food / catering and a minimum of Level 2 Food Safety.

* Experience of working in a busy kitchen environment and producing quality food at volume.

* Experience of working with fresh produce from scratch and being able to give examples of this.

* A positive team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
