A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Production department with the appointment of a Shift Manager to work a three shift pattern (6am – 2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am)

As Shift Manager you will be responsible for supervision of production on site, ensuring a safe working environment and satisfying all customer demands.

The Shift Manager will be responsible for:

*Guarantee a safe working environment

*Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards

*Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand

*Improve production processes and lead improvement teams

*Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions

*Daily organisation Team Leaders and Operators

*Complete performance reviews to improve team performance and flexibility

*Lead team performance via KPI’s and OEE to achieve targets

*Out of hours contact with Customers

*Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all

*Health and Safety environmental requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset and qualifications:

*Management experience in the automotive sector (or any other manufacturing sector)

*ILM Level 3 Management.

*Knowledge of 5s.
