Job Role: Welding Supervisor
Location: Leicester
Shift: Days
Salary: £35-£38k per annuum

Our client:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Welding Supervisor to join their team. As a Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the welding operations in an excellent manufacturing facility based in the Leicester area. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate welding operations to ensure production targets are met
Train and mentor welding staff to maintain high-quality standards
Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace incidents
Collaborate with production management to optimise workflow and resource allocation
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and quality control data
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and productivity
Promote diversity, equality, and inclusion within the teamExperience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in welding operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplaceDay-to-day:

Plan and oversee daily welding production schedules
Conduct regular meetings with the welding team to discuss goals and performance
Address any technical or operational issues that arise during production
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and cross-functional communication
