Job Role: Production Operative - (Full-time and Permanent)

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour PLUS a weekly shift premium of £100.62 for working 4/4 nights or £20 for working 4/4 days

Shift Pattern: Rotation of 4 on/4 off night shifts, working 18:00-06:00, or 4 on/4 off day shifts, working 06:00-18:00

Job Location: St Neots - Cromwell Road

This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking gain a long-term career within the packaging industry. This exciting position has the opportunity to progress further within the company.

Role/Responsibilities:

You will work closely with all the production team, to assist with:
Carrying out routine Quality Inspection of finished product & raising any concerns immediately with their immediate supervisor
Keeping the factory in a clean and safe manner
Carrying out Line Clearance duties between each production run
Alert to any abnormal running conditions, (visual / audible) & reporting immediately to immediate supervisor/gluing minder or when advised 'halting' the production line
Support 'Make Ready' activities at the discretion of their Number 1 operative
Feeding +/or packing the finished product in a quality controlled manner & affixing appropriate product identification
Stripping - strip product as and when required
Maintaining high standards of 5S within all areas of the site
Maintaining Die changes when required
Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and all colleagues You will help the team to achieve agreed targets, whilst working in a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:
No experience required as full training will be provided
