Cover Supervisor - Borehamwood, Hertfordshrie - January Start - ongoing and cover roles at the same school!

Are you looking to kick start a career in education? Perhaps you've experience on supply locally and are looking for an ongoing role at one school or part time work? Tradewind are currently working with an inclusive and supportive Secondary Academy in Borehamwood for cover supervisors to work on a supply / cover basis and fill in an internal and / or fill an ongoing position.

Covering a mixture of classes across KS3 and will need to have strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and effectively manage classroom behaviour.
Provide support to students in their learning and assist with any queries they may have.
Maintain accurate records of attendance and report any issues to the relevant staff members.

Requirements:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring student engagement.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A desire to make a positive impact on the educational experience of students.
