Description

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced individual to support a busy procurement team for our client based in Borough Green on a 2 month temporary basis.

The primary objective is to support the procurement process by efficiently coordinating the purchasing and delivery of goods required by the organisation, while ensuring cost effectiveness, quality, and adherence to established policies and procedures.

You will be required to carry out the following tasks;

1. Placing purchase orders, including drop shipments.

2. Following up and negotiating order delivery dates and keeping the system updated.

3. Ensure there are the right target levels, and stock is in the right location.

4. Ensure internal enquiries are answered quickly and completely.

5. Deal with enquiries for pricing from suppliers.

6. Ensuring the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system is kept up to date.

7. Create reports and support material for supplier meetings.

Ideally you will be skilled in supplier relationship management and have experience of negotiating, coupled with good all round administration and customer handling skills.

You will be working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and the role may move to Aylesford after a month.

Due to the location you must have your own transport.
