Are you an experienced Setting Out Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure projects? A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced professional to join their team for a landmark project in Peterhead. Accommodation can be provided if required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting Out Duties: Using GPS and Total Station for precise measurements and layout on-site.
* Site Coordination: Collaborating with site management and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered to exact specifications.
* Quality Control: Conducting checks to verify accuracy and compliance with designs.
* Reporting: Maintaining accurate site records and updating project progress.
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency with GPS systems and Total Station equipment.
* Valid CSCS Card (essential).
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
* Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure
