Nightshift Engineering Supervisor

Alexander Steele is recruiting a Engineering Supervisor for a leading food manufacturing business based in Worcestershire. The supervisor manages a team of 6 engineers or technicians, addressing any operational challenges, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing production processes during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee all maintenance and engineering activities during the night shift.

* Ensure all equipment and systems are operational and running efficiently.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality

* Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.

Background Experience:

* HNC, HND or degree in electrical, mechanical or related engineering field (no preference to bias).

* 3+ years of experience in a supervisory/management within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.

* Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.

What’s on Offer:

* Paying up to £56,000

* 24 days holiday

* 4 on 4 off – permanent nights – 12-hour shifts
