Modern Foreign Languages Teacher – MFL

Location: Stoke Mandeville

Salary grade: £29,344 - £44,919 (MPS to UPS)

Start date: January 2025 Start

Contract: Full Time

The School:

Supply Desk are pleased to be supporting a ‘Good’ secondary school located in the Stoke Mandeville area in their search for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher. The school is looking for a teacher that is well organised, confident, personable and engaging. Teachers will need to love the curriculum content so that students can see their passion and subsequently resonate with this passion.

The MFL Role:

Delivering MFL lessons at KS3/4 and 5 would be an advantage
Planning creative lessons to inspire and motivate students and build their confidence in French or Spanish speaking, listening and writing skills
Delivering the subject of French or Spanish in a fun way
Challenging students and adapting lessons to cater for all abilities
Allow opportunities for re-caps, extension tasks and class discussion

Requirements:

Passionate about the subject of French/ Spanish
Have excellent subject knowledge
Experience of teaching within a secondary school
Relevant qualification – NQT/QTS/Trained Overseas
French/ Spanish (C2) or similar fluency
Interpersonal and communication skills
Organisational skills
