Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor (SEN Primary School)

Location: Reigate, Surrey

Hours: 11:30am- 1:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)

We are currently recruiting for a vibrant Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary School in Reigate, specialising in providing tailored education and care for children with Autism and complex needs.

The School are looking for a caring and patient Lunchtime Supervisor to join their supportive team. In this role, you will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and structured lunchtime for the pupils. You will play an essential part in their daily routine, fostering positive interactions and supporting their social and emotional development.

This is a long-term role. Monday to Friday and the hours will be from 11.30am-1.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising students during lunchtime, both in the dining area and during outdoor/indoor play.
Supporting pupils with eating and encouraging positive mealtime behaviours.
Engaging children in safe and enjoyable activities during playtime.
Assisting with personal care if required, including toileting and hygiene needs.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils, following safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Promoting an inclusive, respectful, and calm environment tailored to the needs of each child.

We are seeking someone who is:

Kind, patient, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
Able to remain calm and composed in a busy environment.
A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills.
Experienced in working with children with Autism or complex needs (preferred, but not essential).
Willing to undertake relevant training, including safeguarding and first aid.
