Salary: £13.39 an hour
Contractual hours: 30 hours per week

Location: Malvern College

Job description

We are currently recruiting for two Cleaning Team Leaders to be based at Malvern College. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaners on a daily basis and to assist with cleaning as necessary. You will ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the College is maintained as part of a team. This will include but not limited to, classrooms, offices, boarding houses and bedrooms and our Sports Complex.

The roles will be for 30 hours per week working 5 over 7 days, 52 weeks a year. Flexibility is required. Whilst not exclusively, shifts of 06.00 to 12.00 and 09.00 to15.00 with some evenings and weekends required. Any additional hours will claimed as overtime at standard rate.

This post involves minimal contact with children and the post holder will not be responsible for children. The post holder will be considered to be in regulated activity.

We will seek references on short-listed candidates that will include questions about past disciplinary actions or allegations in relation to behaviour with children and may approach previous employers for information to verify particular experience or qualifications before interview.

You may have experience in the following: Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Manager, Housekeeping Team Leader, Facilities Supervisor, Domestic Services Team Leader, Custodial Supervisor, Cleaning Operative, Building Maintenance Assistant, Janitorial Team Leader, Commercial Cleaner Supervisor, Hygiene Coordinator, Premises Supervisor, Environmental Services Team Leader, Operational Cleaning Manager, Soft Services Supervisor, etc.
