Job Title: Secondary School Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

Location: Gillingham, Kent, UK

Contract: Fulltime, Long-term

Secondary School Teacher – Gillingham

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our dynamic team, located in the picturesque region of Thanet, Kent. The successful candidate will primarily teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment conducive to academic excellence and personal growth.

Your Role:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, tailored to the specific needs and abilities of KS3 and KS4 students.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to promote active learning and student engagement in the classroom.
Able to teach across all subject leads
Assess student progress through formative assessments, providing constructive feedback.
Establish a positive classroom climate characterized by mutual respect, inclusivity, and a commitment to diversity.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering strong partnerships to support student achievement and well-being.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and discipline in accordance with school policies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Qualification and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a relevant degree in Education or subject area.
Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students, with a track record of achieving excellent academic outcomes.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (Or willing to obtain one)
