Job Title: Facilities Engineer
Location: Cornwall, (Commutable from: Plymouth, Bodmin, Callington, Launceston, Davidstow, St Neot)
Salary: £45,000
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Role:
Zest Engineering are working closely with a successful food manufacture. We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of essential facilities equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the site.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on steam systems, plumbing installations, and other mechanical facilities.
* Conduct fault-finding, and repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
* Monitor and maintain steam boilers, pressure systems, and associated pipework to comply with safety regulations.
* Perform inspections to ensure all facilities systems meet compliance standards and are functioning efficiently.
* Work closely with other maintenance and operations teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and compliance checks.

What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a facilities/maintenance engineering role with a focus on steam systems and plumbing.
* Demonstrable knowledge of plumbing maintenance and repair techniques.
* Happy to turn your hand to anything - groundwork, plumbing, carpentry etc
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
* Relevant mechanical or facilities engineering qualifications (NVQ, HND, or equivalent). -(Desirable)
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
