Job title: QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

Rate: £40k per annum

Shift: 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8am -1pm

Location: Christchurch

Our client who manufacture components for aerospace and defence clients for over 60 years is currently seeking to recruit QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEERS, You will become part of a prestigious company within the UK. Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (disclosure & barring service) may be required. Please also note at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Skills required for this QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER position:

* Minimum 3 years experience as a quality engineer and working with aerospace quality systems

* Knowledge of sheet metal, composites, manufacturing methods and mechanical assemblies

* Ability to read engineering drawings and jobs cards

* Partake in MRB, review and approve work instructions / operation sheets, assist in RCCA actions, prepare, and submit FAIR’s

* Work with cross function teams including planning, engineering, manufacturing, inspection and shipping to improve quality of product

* Participate in internal quality audits and participate in New Product Introduction, development and failure investigations

* Support inspection across several functions in a technically demanding aerospace market
