Electrician

The Role Voltage Optimisation Electrician:

This is a remote role, and you should ideally be based in any of the following areas (Other areas will be considered for the right applicants), Any North West, Yorkshire, The Midlands, The Home Counties, Avon and Somerset. You will be routinely travelling on a daily basis and will be away from home for several days at a time .You will be required to attend the Manchester office occasionally throughout the year, however the majority of communication with the office will be online or over the phone.

You will undergo a training period which will require you to travel to a North West UK location for several days at a time at the start of your hire..

Salary: £50/65,000 DOE, Full-Time: Company Vehicle, Bonus Scheme, Overtime, and other perks

The Company

Our Client is an Electrical installation company based in Manchester., and are well established in the energy reduction sector, having a range of energy reduction technologies including Voltage Optimisation (VO) and Power Correction (PC) equipment.

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a qualified time served electrician to join a long established and fast-growing business within the sustainable energy sector, a sector which is constantly evolving and a fundamental part of the world in which we now live.

The role

* Initially you will be working alongside an experienced VO Installation Engineer

* Will receive first class industry specific training,.

* Will receive manufacturer training.

* Installing Voltage Optimisation and Power Correction equipment at commercial premises and industrial premises around the UK

There will be scope for progression in the role for the right enthusiastic candidate.

Electrician Experience and Qualifications

* Fully Qualified as an Electrician

* Experience in a commercial / industrial environment.

* Keen and enthusiastic, willing to learn and progress.

* Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

* Full UK driving licence.

* 2-year minimum experience as a commercial/industrial electrician.

* Level 3 electrotechnical apprenticeship or equivalent.

* Electrical Installations BS 7671 (18th Edition)

* Inspection and Testing (Preferred)

* Right to work in the UK, no dependants or student visas accepted.

* Must be able to communicate fluently.

* Experience with voltage optimization or power correction is not required, as training will be given, however having this or an understanding of VO would be an advantage.
