Production Supervisor
Location: Shirebrook, Nottinghamshire
Hours of work: Days and Nights, 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am / Continental Shifts (4 nights with four days off in between)
Salary: £13.56 per hour
Our client has had an increase in business and are looking to expand their team! They are looking for an individual to supervise the production shift to meet the production plan efficiently, safely to high standards of quality. Are you looking to take the next step in your career?
You must be able to work full-time hours and be prepared to take an initial assessment prior to your start date.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Adhering to and leading the shift on all health and safety requirements.
* Performing start-up shift checks.
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed in full, accurately and signed off.
* Liaising with batching and warehouse teams to ensure RMs and packaging requirements are in place.
* Driving the production shift to meet production plan and organising staff to achieve this.
* Problem solving when issues and challenges arise.
* Ensuring high standards of hygiene/cleaning and food safety are adhered to.
* Involvement in GMPs and corrective actions.
* Delivering briefings and tool-box talks.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
* Supervisory experience, ideally within the food manufacturing sector
* Good communication skills and command of English, both verbally and written
* Ability to lead by example and sustain a good team working culture
* Problem solver, with the ability to make sound decisions (with support, where needed) in a faced paced environment
* Computer literate with Microsoft Office (particularly in Excel)
