Description

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to work for our client based in Haverhill who are a leading provider of precision sheet metal fabrication services. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of brake presses and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience and the hours are working Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm and Friday: 7am – 2pm. Working over 44 hours in the week would grant 1.5x standard hourly rate as overtime.

Main Duties:

* Set up and operate brake presses to form sheet metal into specified shapes and sizes

* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

* Ensure quality control standards are met.

* Maintain and clean equipment.

* Follow all safety procedures.

The Successful Candidate:

* Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator.

* Strong mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

* Good problem-solving skills.

* Attention to detail.

* Ability to work under pressure.
