ASAP Start - Graduate Teaching Assistant

£83-£90 per day

Have you graduated with a 2:2 or above?

Are you an aspiring Primary School Teacher?

Would you like to gain more experience before completing your teacher training?

A fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher has arisen at a wonderful primary school based in Wallingford. The opportunity is to build your classroom experience as a teaching assistant for one year before successfully completing your primary school teacher training. The start date for this position will be ASAP. Ideally and will require someone who can commit for a minimum of one year. The teaching assistant will be working with both a Year 2 and a Year 4 class as a general classroom support assistant.

This is an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated school who are known for their fantastic teacher training programme. The school is popular with the local community and has an established senior leadership team. If you are an aspiring primary teacher, this teaching assistant position could be perfect for you.

Additionally the primary school are looking for someone with some experience working with children previously - this may include previous work as a teaching assistant, tutoring, youth work or special needs experience.
