We are recruiting for an onsite Quality Control Inspector within our clients steelwork and erection process. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all onsite processes meet stringent quality standards and industry quality standards. This role with drive quality improvement and optimise efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant onsite standards.

As the onsite Quality Control Inspector, you will be:

• To conduct inspections and audits during the erection process.
• Develop and maintain test Plans (ITPs)
• To document non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with steelwork standards and client specifications.
• To analyse quality metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and cost-saving opportunities
• To collaborate to drive continuous improvement and implement preventive measures.
• To maintain accurate records.
• To verify materials, workmanship and installation processes
• To collaborate with design and manufacturing teams
• Keep abreast of updates in industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively promote a safe working environment by adhering to our Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental policies and policies

As the onsite Quality Control Inspector, you will have:

• Great communication skill
• Proficient IT abilities
• Experience in a quality engineering erection role
• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence and open to UK wide travel
• Ability to interpret installation drawings
