Our College is a leading land-based college with a mission to deliver exceptional education that prepares learners for success in agriculture and land management. Based in the heart of the agricultural sector, we provide a collaborative and supportive environment where educators thrive, and students excel.

About the role

This is a teaching-focused position ideal for someone who is passionate about education and has a genuine interest in the agricultural sector. You do not need to be an expert in livestock production, but an appreciation of the field and its importance in the broader context of business, ethics, and people management is essential.

As a T-Level Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality lessons that combine theory with practical applications. You will play a key role in supporting students as they develop the skills and knowledge needed for careers in agriculture, working with industry partners to ensure the curriculum aligns with real-world demands.

Key responsibilities:

Teach and support learners studying the Livestock Pathway of the T-Level in Agriculture, Land Management, and Production.
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that balance theory and practical application.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their development.
Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure course content is relevant and up to date.
Contribute to curriculum planning and development to meet learner and sector needs.
The successful candidate will:

Teaching Expertise: (Desirable) experience delivering Level 3, T-Level, or A-Level qualifications.
Sector Appreciation: A strong interest in and understanding of the agricultural sector, particularly in relation to livestock production.
Desirable: Practical experience in agricultural business, people management, or the agricultural industry is an advantage but not essential.
Qualifications: A PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred, but we welcome applications from experienced trainers who are willing to undertake further teacher training.
Skills: Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills, with a commitment to fostering student success.
We can offer you:

35 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a two-week festive/New Year shut down
Generous pension scheme with an employer contribution of 28.68%
Enhanced sick pay of up to 6 months full pay depending upon service
On site gym membership available
Pluxee reward scheme
As a College, we actively encourage applications from industry professionals without a teaching qualification, as well as those from qualified teachers. Reaseheath offers a full CDP programme with access to funded qualifications alongside hands on support whilst completing Further Education Training. Industry professionals joining the College in an academic role, will complete their Further Education Training whilst in post.
