ROV Inspector

Location : Derbyshire

Hours of work : Office hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 16:00, Friday 7:30 - 15:00 but this is a site based role and ROV inspectors will be paid from when they leave home until they return home.

Salary : £14.50 per hour (after 6 months £15.00 per hour) Overtime, fully expensed van & fuel card, daily meal allowance.

Role Overview:

With the worlds growing population, energy needs and continued investment, our client is looking to hire a ROV Inspector. This role will require a lot of travel, as the role itself is to travel to various sites across the UK mainland to inspect fire sprinkler tanks. This will involve operatating from heights and controlling remote operated vehicles.

Key Responsibilities for this ROV Inspector role:

Travel to sites across the UK inspecting fire sprinkler tanks.
Climbing up tanks, ensuring H&S protocols are followed, to use the ROV to inspect the inside of the tank
Generating reports for your findings.Experience for this ROV Inspector:

Ideally worked in engineering or construction (not a necessity though)
H&S conscious
Happy to travel daily covering the UK and working at heights.
Full clean driving license

This is a unique role for someone looking for a more active role and can lead to various positions within the company. Full training will be given for this role, so my client is open to candidates with various backgrounds
