SEN Teaching Assistant - Chingford, London

Working in LKS2 with a child with non-verbal ASD
Suitable for graduates and experienced TAs
January 2025 start
Long term contract up until July 2025
Full time position fully on-site
Daily Rates of £83.33-£100 As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

Collaborating and communicating with the staff within your year group ensuring that the curriculum is being correctly delivered within the needs of non-verbal ASD
Supporting and nurturing your relationship within the child's needs, creating a safe, loving environment within the classroom leading to positive steps within their academic potential.
Patience and understanding of behavioural triggers, patterns and emotional outburst.
Working with the senior leadership team in order to monitor and coordinate the learning progress and direction for the child.A fantastic school in Chingford, London are looking for the perfect SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2025. The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant has:

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Previous Experience working with ASD (Desirable but not essential)
TA experience (Willing to work with graduates)
Flexibility to adapt to individual needs of Autism
