Description

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Quality Inspector for their client in Aberdeen who provide machining, fabrication and engineering services support the offshore industry.

Salary up to £21/hr (DOE).

The Role:

Ensuring that parts/components cleared for final release meet the customers specifications/requirements.
Interpreting engineering drawings of machined or fabricated components/parts.
Dimensional verification of final product to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Performing quality control checks on job routing paperwork, in process inspections, final parts and documentation.
Producing reports covering dimensional measurements, load testing witnessing and coatings witnessing.
Managing the Non-Conformance Report system for all internal, vendor and client Non Conformance's.
Investigation and analysis of Non-Conformance data.
In house calibration of equipment and control of external calibrations.
COSHH, HAVS and PUWER assessments.Successful Candidate:
