Position: Nurture Teacher
Salary: Starting at £26 per hour
Hours: Flexible – 10 hours per week per student
Location: Various locations (travel required)

About the Role:
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Here at SEND Inclusion Support, we’re seeking a dynamic Nurture Teacher to join our team and work with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This is an exciting opportunity to provide vital support in a nurturing environment, where you can help students unlock their potential both academically and emotionally.

As a Nurture Teacher, you will deliver tailored one-on-one lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. Your role will be to create a safe, supportive, and positive space for learning, where every child is empowered to succeed at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering personalised, one-on-one lessons to students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs.

* Implementing EHCPs for each student when necessary.

* Creating a safe and nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued.

* Building strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and other professionals.

* Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to ensure students are on track to achieve their goals.

What We’re Looking For:

* PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

* Experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs – highly desirable.

* Full, valid driving licence and access to a car, as travel between student locations is required.

* Enhanced DBS on the update system – advantageous, but can be applied for through SEND Inclusion Support.

What Makes You Stand Out:

* A genuine passion for working with children who require additional support.

* Patience, flexibility, and a talent for creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.

* A good understanding of SEND and SEMH practices, or a keen willingness to learn and develop in this area.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

* A competitive starting rate of £26 per hour and flexible working hours that fit around your life.

* The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children who need your support.

* A welcoming and supportive team environment, with access to regular Nurture Teacher meetings for continued professional development.

* Access to a leading online resource bank to support your teaching and enhance your practice.

* An open door policy at our company office, with office-based support staff always available by phone, email, and text to assist you whenever needed.

To apply:
If you’re an enthusiastic, caring teacher who’s eager to make a real difference to the lives of children with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV and cover letter, outlining your experience and passion for this role.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
