Description

We’re currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join the dynamic quality team at a leading manufacturing services provider. This hands-on role reports directly to the QHSE Manager and offers the chance to work with an exciting business, on a diverse range of products.

What you'll be doing:

* Root cause analysis, handling corrective actions to closure

* An understanding of quality improvement programmes and IPC electronic assembly knowledge would be advantageous

* ISO9001 / ISO13485 / ISO45001 / ISO14001 – Carry out internal process and system audits with action follow-up and progression to closure

* Monitoring Supplier Performance

* Interacting with customers, and staff on the production line, dealing with any necessary issues

* Dealing with material returns where required

Key Requirements:

* Strong background in quality engineering within an electronic manufacturing environment

* Ability to conduct audits on Business systems and processes to meet ISO standards

* Excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001)

* Hands-on, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills

Package and Benefits:

* 4-day workweek (Mon-Wed 7am-5pm, Thu 7am-4:30pm)

* Salary is up to £42k

* Over 6 weeks of annual leave, plus a Christmas shutdown (24 Dec - 6 Jan)
