I am looking for a teaching assistant to join a fantastic children's care provider based in Glossop. The role comes with a great salary, bonus, ongoing support and development and assistance programme.

The organisation provide residential and education provision for young people with a range of needs and their aim is to improve the lives of children and young people. Aside from knowing that you’re making a real difference to a young person’s life, every time you go to work, as an outstanding independent provider of high-quality education they train and mentor you. You will develop your technical skills and confidence and help you build a genuinely rewarding career; the likes of which other employers can’t match. This is a full year role and hours of work are Monday - Friday 8 -4 and benefits include:

To be considered for this fantastic role you will:

* Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (Level 3 qualification and above).

* Have a specialism, or demonstrable experience, in supporting the wider KS2 curriculum.

* Have experience of engaging reluctant learners and dealing with challenging behaviour.

* Have an innate ability to relate to young people.

* Understand the national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes

* Have a proven ability to be able to age relationships with a variety of colleagues and external parties.

* Be eligible to work in the UK and have a full, valid manual driving licence
