Position: Plater / Welder

Location: Dunbar, Scotland

PAYE Pay: £1988.00/week Gross, Including Lodge Allowance

Hours: 12hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Start Date: 06.01.25

Duration: 2 weeks

Our client has a requirement for Plater / Welders for a shutdown on a cement plant shutdown in Dunbar, Scotland from Mon 6th Jan for a 2 week shutdown. Duties will include:

- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate

- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate

- Repairing heat distorted steel plate

- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs

- MMA welding on mild steel plate

Requirements:

- CCNSG card

- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification

- Confined Space Entry certificate an advantage

- Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
