Art Teacher (0.8 FTE) - Glossop

Education Personnel are working closely with a school in Glossop who are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their dedicated team for a Maternity Cover. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring creativity and developing artistic skills in our students.

* Art Teacher – 0.8 FTE (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)

* Start January 2024

* Maternity Cover

* Pay £130-£230 daily

* QTS is desirable, minimum 6months teaching experience in UK secondary schools

* Contract: 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

* Planning and delivering engaging art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4

* Setting and marking work to a high standard

* Encouraging students to develop their artistic talents and critical thinking skills

* Supporting students in preparing for GCSE Art and Design

* Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities

Qualifications and Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Strong knowledge of the Art and Design curriculum

* Excellent classroom management skills

* A passion for art and a commitment to professional development

* Experience working in a secondary school setting (preferred)
