Manufacturing Operative

This market leading company are recruiting for multiple Manufacturing Operatives to join their busy workforce on a temp-perm basis. With full training provided you would be given a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skillset across multiple departments. You must be physically fit, communicate confidently and looking for a long-term position.

Location: Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds

Hours: 07:00am – 16:00pm Monday-Friday with a 30 minute paid break & 1 hour unpaid lunch break daily.

Hourly Rate: £12.74 per hour rising to £13.94 per hour upon completion of probation + Holiday Pay

Benefits: Personal Counterbalance license, Team days out, Christmas parties, 20 days holiday+ 8 days bank holiday, Overtime available at 1.5x.

What we are looking for:

* Manufacturing/Production experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

* The ability to read from engineering drawings is desirable but training is provided

* Previous experience operating a Forklift is desirable

* You must have strong communication skills

* Happy to assist in other departments when required

* Compliant with companies’ health and safety policies

* You must be physically fit as heavy lifting is required

Candidates must have:

* The ability to manage workloads and work to targets

* Willingness to learn and take on board training

* To be able to work independently

* Strong verbal and written communications

* A good understanding of health and safety

* Good health due to heavy lifting
