Red Snapper Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Staffordshire for Investigative Consultants.

Offering a 6 month contract with a possible extension, at a rate of £16.50p per hour.
Full time/Part time hours can be considered.

Main duties and responsibilities

* Conduct thorough investigations

* Retrieve and review CCTV evidence

* Identify and interview suspects and witnesses

* Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution

* Outside enquiries and statement taking

* Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system

* Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations

Person Specification

* PIP2 qualified or time served experience

* Previous experience using HOLMES (desirable)

* Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations

* Strong understanding of CCTV analysis

* Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses

* Experience in preparing case files for prosecution

* Proficiency in relevant police IT systems

* Current vetting would be ideal

The role is subject to Police security vetting.
Therefore applicants must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years.
