Vehicle Technician – Worcestershire – Main Dealership - Up to £37,000
Our client, a prominent main dealership in Worcestershire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their thriving Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression in a professional and dynamic environment.
Position: Vehicle Technician
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: Up to £37,000 + bonus
Benefits:
* Competitive Salary: Up to £37,000 + performance-related bonus - up to £10,000 extra
* Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - NO WEEKEND WORK
* Working Hours: 42.5 Hour week
* Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and fix vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
* Meet with customers to understand and address their problems.
* Stay updated on new vehicle technology and repair techniques.
* Perform diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards.
* Follow safe working practices for yourself and others.
* Consult colleagues and supervisors for complex issues.
* Use diagnostic equipment and road testing to ensure quality work.
* Complete service documentation according to warranty and dealership requirements.
* Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and proper use of tools.
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and share best
* Perform maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
Execute all tasks efficiently and effectively as a Vehicle Mechanic/Car Mechanic.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a dealership setting as a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic (or similar)
* License: Valid Driving License required; MOT license preferred but not essential
