We are looking for an experienced Controls and Automation Engineering Project Engineer to join our client in Derbyshire
The company is well established Automation and Electronic engineering company who specialise in delivery and support of bespoke, turnkey projects for a variety of customers from multiple industries.
We are seeking experienced Project Engineers who understand the importance of customer focused project delivery to join our clients team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a team who are responsible for the entirety of a project life cycle. This includes control system design, development, FAT testing, on-site commissioning, documentation preparation and end user training
* Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements
* Reviewing work and initiating the necessary corrective actions
* Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, user requirements, performance standards and specifications
* Collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability

Desired Experience
* Delivering turnkey projects from concept to handover
* Design and implementation of PLC Software
* Design and implementation of SCADA Software
* Design of system networks
* Design of control panels
* Customer interface/liaison
* Project lifecycle documentation (FDS, FAT, SAT, O&Ms etc.)
* In-House factory testing
* On-site commissioning and final site acceptance testing
* Training and handover processes
* Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Required Qualifications
* Technical/Vocational Diploma or degree in a related discipline
* Full UK Driving License

* Salary £28k to £42k DOE
