Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the extremely successful team at Flowtec Solutions based in Kirkstall (nr Leeds). Due to year on year growth within the Engineering and Technical marketplace this position has arisen for an astute individual to step onto their professional recruitment career or alternatively you may currently be in a recruitment role where you are not receiving the training and support you require. We are seeking an individual with sales or business development experience along with the correct attitude to learn complex and technical processes within the manufacturing side of engineering. You will work under the guidance of a senior member of staff on a daily basis and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow within the role. This opportunity would be ideal for someone with sales and confidence looking to develop their career in a new and expanding specialised recruitment agency. This role will initially be 70% business development and 30% other duties until you are fully established within the business!
Candidate Qualifications
As a Trainee Engineering Recruitment Consultant your role will encompass the following duties:-
* Search and selection of skilled engineering candidates to fullfil client requirements * Business development to engineering companies within the UK
* Client facing meetings within an engineering environment from shop floor through to board room scenarios
* Face to face interviewing of potential skilled candidates
* Administration of references, work allocations etc
* Database management
Candidate Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:-
* Very strong business development skills
* Potentially come from a recruitment background within engineering/industrial
* A good standard of education (ideally engineering/sales)
* Be willing to undertake extensive training
* Be able to supply references
* Be able to work in a small team environment and follow instructions effectively in a positive manner.
