Ashbys Consulting are working with one of the UK's largest multi-discipline Building Consultancies, whose regional office in Leeds is looking to appoint a Partner level Chartered Building Surveyor with with proven consultancy experience in the local property market.

This company have multiple offices nationwide, and their Leeds region delivers a range of property services for some major clients including real estate agents; local authorities; private property developers; management consultants; and national government estates. Sectors are varied but include public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial and insurance work.

Some responsibilities include:

* Hands on delivery of building surveying services

* Leading projects and co-ordinating the in-house multi discipline design services

* Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the building surveying team

* Technical reviews to manage the quality of services

* Key client development, financial forecasting, team management and growth.

The successful candidate will have / be:

* MRICS

* Consultancy experience in Leeds.

* Be commercially minded with an enthusiasm for winning work and business development

* Be able to manage your own workload

* Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects

* Good communication and client facing skills

* A positive ‘can-do’ attitude

* Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge

* An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
