As an industry rarity CHARLES FOX established in 1876 has now been run by the same family for over 140 years. This has culminated in their business being recognised as the leading jeweller & watchmaker on the South Coast and they are rightly renowned for their friendly & professional service.

Official retailer of some of their industries most highly prized watch brands; ROLEX, OMEGA, BREITLING and TAG HEUER alongside bringing to market some as equally well regarded Jewellery Designer names such as FOPE and HANS S KRIEGER. The business also markets their own diamond collections and offer a bespoke design, jewellery alteration, engraving, valuation services as well as having their own accredited watchmaker.

An opportunity now exists to harness a further talented sales professional to add further sales team depth and coverage to ensure that all store contact in whatever form continues to be as virtuous an experience as is possible.

Job Role:
Operating within such a specialist retailer environment there is a need to be capable in selling across all areas of store merchandise. Whatever the reason for visiting the store clientele correctly expect sound product knowledge, best of customer service etiquette and place quite some trust in the team’s purchasing recommendations.

You need therefore to be quietly confident in showcasing luxury goods, ever conscious of best security and service protocols whilst delighting in delivering merchandise enlightenment that matches any given request. The future in client service is becoming evermore sophisticated, diverse & asking of individuals commitment and personal effort. For you though this is the challenge that you can envisage yourself & your service values building upon for years to come.

Your wish is to serve established customers with evermore proficiency whilst attracting patronage from jewellery & watch buyers that may be new but in time will become as enduring and purchasing loyal.

Experience that would suit:

It would be relevant to have a good retail sales awareness of luxury goods – be it watches, fine jewellery or any other equally discerning sphere of consumer goods.

Individually you will feel at ease within a meticulously ordered store environment and be equally content supporting colleagues alongside taking any specific sales lead.

*

It could well be that you have previously had responsibility for a specific brand or product area which has required you to liaise externally with suppliers as well as train & educate your peers / associates.

*

Merchandising standards have always been a forte of yours – and you are able to replicate to perfection VM guides where given ensuring that compliance to the bigger brand picture is never compromised.

Character- wise you are ultra efficient able to administrate across varying areas with the exactness required whilst possessing a persona that engages all to rightly expect the best outcome time & time again.

Working hours are considered to reflect the inward confidence of the business, the store elects not to trade on Bank holidays, Sundays or indeed participate in any late- night opening.
